Blessings from God who Provides
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:9
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17
Out of His fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. John 1:16
Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, thank you! Only you are the Lord Who Sees and the Lord Who Will See To It. Thank you for your provision today and everyday. Thank you for abundantly giving grace and for everything else that you provide. Please help me to be grateful for these provisions and to not grumble when things do not go my way. There is no reason for me to grumble in light of the gospel. You have already provided everything I need though Christ. Let me never forget that His sacrifice is enough.
Thank you Lord for filling me life with good things, even though all I need is in Christ. Thank you for the friends who share my journey with me. Thank you for those who have been hospitable to me and shared parts of their stories with me. Thank you for those who have suffered along side with me, and who have bore the weight of my sufferings with me. Thank for those who were only meant to be in my life a season, and for those have been in my life for many seasons, each of them are such a blessing.Thank you for those that challenge me and make me a better person, and thank you for those I have been blessed to be able to challenge and sharpen. Thank you for the abundance of people you have blessed me with.
Thank you Jehovah-Jireh for my family, for the people who know so many of my everyday struggles, my deepest wounds, my most grievous offenses. Thank you for the grace that lets us continually trudge forward together. Please Lord, help me to be a blessing to them more and more. Let me be a better example than I am to them. When I am stressed, do not let me revert back to my grumbling ways, and point out everything that I or they are lacking, but let me be humbled and remember that your grace covers them as much as it covers me.
I am so grateful, God that you do not change like the shifting shadows, but are ever present and always the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Please let me learn more about you, so that my thankfulness and rejoicing will never be able to cease.
In Christ, who is all I need, Amen.
